Please read these terms carefully before using our website or placing an order. They govern your relationship with EydOil.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the website eydoil.com (the "Site") and all purchases made through it. The Site is operated by EydOil S.r.l., a company registered in Italy, with registered office in Sustinente (MN), Italy ("EydOil", "we", "us", "our").

EydOil specialises in the sale of premium natural and organic oils for skin care, hair care, body care, and general wellness. All products offered on the Site are intended for cosmetic or personal-care use and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

These Terms comply with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code).

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

3. Account Registration

You may browse the Site without registering. However, to place an order, save items to your wishlist, or track order history, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information (name, email address, password).

4. Product Information

We strive to describe and photograph all products as accurately as possible. However:

Important: Natural oils are cosmetic products. They are not medicines and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on the Site are in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT (Value Added Tax) where required by law. Shipping costs, if any, are displayed clearly at checkout before you confirm your order.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price shown at the time you place it. In the unlikely event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing the order.

All payment transactions are encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS technology. We do not store your full card details on our servers — payment processing is handled entirely by our PCI-DSS compliant payment providers (Stripe and PayPal).

6. Order Process

When you place an order on the Site, the following process applies:

  1. Order placement: You add products to your cart, enter shipping and payment details, and submit the order. This constitutes an offer to purchase.
  2. Order confirmation: We send an automated email confirming receipt of your order and its details. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order.
  3. Order acceptance: A binding contract is formed when we dispatch your order and send you a shipping confirmation email.
  4. Order tracking: Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number to monitor your delivery.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including (but not limited to): product unavailability, errors in pricing or product description, suspected fraud, or breach of these Terms.

7. Shipping & Delivery

We ship to countries within the European Union and selected international destinations. Estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout and in your confirmation email. Typical delivery windows are:

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, carrier issues, or events beyond our control. Risk of loss and title for items passes to you upon delivery.

If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please contact us and we will investigate with the carrier.

8. Right of Withdrawal

14-Day Cooling-Off Period: Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from any purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal:

  1. Contact us at info@eydoil.com within 14 days of receiving your order, stating your intention to withdraw.
  2. Return the product(s) in their original, unopened condition within 14 days of notifying us.
  3. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the product is defective or we sent the wrong item.

We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or proof of shipment), using the same payment method you used for the original purchase.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Beyond the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange a return and full refund.

To qualify for a return under our satisfaction guarantee:

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item and are issued to the original payment method.

10. Legal Guarantee & Warranty

Under EU consumer protection law and Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005, all products sold on the Site come with a 24-month legal guarantee of conformity from the date of delivery.

If a product is defective or does not conform to the description provided at the time of purchase, you are entitled to:

  1. Repair or replacement of the product, free of charge.
  2. If repair or replacement is not possible or disproportionately costly, a price reduction or full refund.

To make a warranty claim, contact us at info@eydoil.com with your order number, a description of the defect, and if possible, photographs. We will respond within 5 business days.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, icons, product descriptions, blog articles, videos, and software — is the property of EydOil S.r.l. or its licensors and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from the Site without our prior written consent. Limited personal, non-commercial use (e.g., bookmarking, saving for personal reference) is permitted.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Our Privacy Policy explains in detail what information we collect, how we use it, your rights, and how to exercise them.

By using the Site and placing orders, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

14. Cookies

15. Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any disputes amicably. If you have a complaint about a product or our service, please contact us first at info@eydoil.com. We will endeavour to resolve the issue within 15 business days.

EU Online Dispute Resolution: If we are unable to resolve your complaint directly, you may submit it to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. The ODR platform is available to consumers resident in the EU for disputes arising from online purchases.

You also have the right to pursue alternative dispute resolution (ADR) through a certified ADR body in your country of residence, in accordance with Directive 2013/11/EU.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mantova, Italy, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you benefit from mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence, which these Terms do not override.

17. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email.

Changes do not apply retroactively to orders already placed. The Terms in effect at the time of your order govern that transaction.
